Although I’m still technically doing my Penguin English Library Challenge, it is somewhat of a long term project and not so much a ‘quick’ challenge. Via B.B. Toady’s website I discovered the Back to the Classics Challenge, hosted by Books and Chocolate. And I’m participating!

You may have noticed that I’m quite a big fan of the Penguin English Library books. They’re beautiful, bright coloured editions of English classics and as I intend to read every book that’s on the list (around 105 titles) I read at least one of them every month. Want to see which ones I’d like to read very soon? Continue reading “Top 5 | Penguin English Library Books”
I think I’ve never bought so many books as I did past month. I think the fact that the summer holidays were on its way and the idea of heaving loads of time to read helped a little. I shouldn’t really talk – or actually write – very much, but just show you the books, shouldn’t I? Continue reading “July Book Haul”
Wow, I can’t believe it. I just finished my Goodreads reading challenge. Okay, I set it at 30 books, which is below the average on Goodreads, but one year ago I wouldn’t even have read one book a month, and now I’ve read 30 in six months and three days. So I think it’s time for looking back on the developments of the last six months Continue reading “Goodreads Challenge Finished!”
Another month passed and it’s June already. Wow, just another six weeks and then I’ll be done for this year at university. I’ll have to work hard these coming weeks, but I think that the thought of summer and vacation will be a great help. I’m looking forward to reading a lot this summer, but before I can compile my TBR for July and August, I’ll show you what I’ve read and seen last May! Continue reading “Read & Seen #5 May 2015”
Okay, I admit, I promised myself I wasn’t going to watch the film before I had read the novel. But my sweet boyfriend took me to the movies last Saturday and of course I couldn’t refuse. He wanted to buy me the book at first, but it wasn’t in stock at our local bookshop, so he decided to take me to the film instead. If I didn’t mind? Uh, no! Still want that book, though ;-)! Daarom vandaag deel 1 van mijn must see-films! Continue reading “Must See Films (1)”
