The closer the deadline for my master thesis approaches, the less I get to read for pleasure. Too bad, but hey: first things first! The point is that after a long day of working behind my laptop and reading essays, papers and books on other books, I cannot relax with … a book. I just want to curl up on the couch and watch Elementary or The Crown. Still, January was a relatively good month: four books read! Continue reading “January Wrap Up”
I’m but slowly (very slowly) climbing out of my reading slump, so don’t expect big piles of books in a monthly wrap up any time soon. On the other hand, I do not read nothing, which is quite a big change compared to the months of May and October of last year. In the last month of 2016 I read 4 books. Here they are!

It has been a while since I’ve read ‘enough’ books in a month to do a wrap up at the end of it. I blame it on my reading slump because it was so bad that I haven’t read anything at all in October. Fortunately, November has been a little better. Want to see what I’ve read?

January has come to an end and the month of Febuary has started. It can only mean one thing: wrap-up time! Continue reading “January Wrap-Up”
The time has come for my 2016 favourites. Erm … yeah, I wasn’t going to do a favourites blog post at first, because I felt that I should have done that towards the end of 2015. However, I kept seeing favourites video’s on YouTube throughout the whole of January, so I finally decided to do a blog post myself. Here’s to the love of books! Continue reading “My Favourite Books of 2016”
I’ve read quite a few books this past month: nine to be precise! Three of them were volumes of the Chronicles of Narnia, so that probably explains the high number of books. Today I’m going to show you what other books I read and what I thought of them. Continue reading “Read #7 July 2015”
This month I decided to split the Read & Seen blog post up. Every time they turn out quite long and take up much time to compose, so I figured it would be better to spread the fun over two posts. Of most of them I have yet to write a review, but today I’m going to give you a little sneak peak of what I thought. Continue reading “Read #6 June 2015”
Wow, I can’t believe it. I just finished my Goodreads reading challenge. Okay, I set it at 30 books, which is below the average on Goodreads, but one year ago I wouldn’t even have read one book a month, and now I’ve read 30 in six months and three days. So I think it’s time for looking back on the developments of the last six months Continue reading “Goodreads Challenge Finished!”
Another month passed and it’s June already. Wow, just another six weeks and then I’ll be done for this year at university. I’ll have to work hard these coming weeks, but I think that the thought of summer and vacation will be a great help. I’m looking forward to reading a lot this summer, but before I can compile my TBR for July and August, I’ll show you what I’ve read and seen last May! Continue reading “Read & Seen #5 May 2015”
Wow, I can’t believe it’s the 1st of May already! Time for another Read & Seen. Which movies did I watch, what books did I enjoy and how is my Goodreads Reading Challenge coming along? Grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee, ’cause April was one busy month! Continue reading “Read & Seen #4 April 2015”
